Production

As storytelling informs all we teach, actual production guides how we teach it. The Compass program involves multiple production projects.

Pro Shoots

In these first semester productions, professionals walk students through the pre-production of a short film, and then hand off the reins for the actual production while they stand by for guidance.

Thesis Films

As a culmination of the first year, scripts are selected from screenwriting students to be produced as the students’ thesis projects. Equipped with a substantial budget, students helm the productions from start to finish.
