Summer Film and Acting Camps

These five-day day camp programs offer students ages 13-18 the opportunity to work with top talent in the film and entertainment industry.

Both camps run simultaneously, with students working together to produce a short film at the culmination of the process. Campers are able to get a glimpse into what it takes to work in the film & entertainment industries, and thus able to have a better idea as to whether or not they would choose to pursue a career in them.

No prior knowledge or experience is required.

The dates for the 2010 Film & Acting Camps are July 12-16, 2010. The typical camp day runs from 9:00am until 5:00pm.* The cost is $599.

Registration will close on June 15, 2010. These camps accommodate only a limited number of students, so register early and pay the minimum deposit of $150 to reserve your spot! Those students paying the full $599 with their application will be permanently placed on the camp list. Those who choose to pay the deposit will need to pay the balance by June 15, 2010 to keep their place in the camp.

*Lodging and meals are not available on site, or included in the cost of the camp. Many local campgrounds and hotels are available for lodging. Local restaurants are a short distance from Compass Film Academy. Students are welcome to bring their own lunches each day.
