What: Media Department of a Southern California Church
Dates: July 28th – August 29th 2008
Description:
Duties:- You will be the producer of a 4 page narrative short film. You will have access to an extensive crew and state-of-the-art equipment. You will be working closely with writer and director to produce the piece. This is a great experience for Directors & Producers.
- You will work on all weekend service and ministry projects while here.
- You will lead one creative production meeting.
- You will work 40 hours a week minimum. This is an intense experience. Charlie Matz will walk you through everything and make sure your experience is organized for maximum learning.
You will also:
- Get to know the team, see the beach and have fun.
- Have days off to visit LA and the landmarks.
- Smoke cigars with the staff – if you like cigars.
Details:
- $600 to cover food and expenses.
- We will house you with someone from the church.
- YOU WILL NEED TO DRIVE OUT IN YOUR OWN CAR. However in some cases we can make exceptions.
Requirements:
- General Final Cut Pro knowledge
- Moderate production experience
- General camera knowledge
- A good team player
- Hard worker
- Good listener
You will walk away with:
- Production experience
- A great five minute short that you produced
- Several pieces you worked on for ministries and the weekend service
- Better knowledge of southern California
- A team of people that you can count on for life
