24 Hour Film Festival
The Compass Academy Alumni Board created the 24 Hour Film Festival as a way to challenge and encourage emerging filmmakers as well as to give them an opportunity to display their talent.
Filmmakers have 24 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film that is no more than 5 minutes long. Films must include a theme, line from a movie, prop, and location that will be drawn from a hat the night of the Producer’s Meeting.
The top 10 films are judged live in front of filmmakers, friends, and family by a panel of guest judges.
